Designed by Edmund Cheng

The YOKU Adaptive Windshield System is engineered for mountaineers and outdoor adventurers operating with portable liquid fuel stoves in extreme environments. It maximises thermal efficiency by trapping and directing hot air precisely towards the cookware. The unique hexagonal cone-shaped windshield is crafted to withstand high-altitude conditions with fierce winds and sub-zero temperatures.

YOKU’s adaptive design features a modular, slot-in panel configuration that allows for easy setup, seamless portability, and flat-packing. Making it an essential addition to your gear for multi-day expeditions, high-altitude base camps, and remote backcountry adventures. Whether melting snow for life-sustaining water or heating up meals after a long day of trekking, YOKU ensures that every drop of fuel is utilised efficiently, significantly reducing cook times and fuel consumption.

YOKU is inspired by the Icelandic word “Jökull,” meaning glacier, symbolising strength and resilience in extreme environments. Its pronunciation aligns with the Japanese word “Yoku,” which translates to often, well, and skillfully. This fusion embodies YOKU’s philosophy as robust, efficient, and purpose-built for adventure.
