A more realistic driving range experience.

This project aims to close the gap between the idealised conditions of driving ranges and the unpredictable challenges of real golf courses. The brief was to create a more affordable product than current alternatives, making realistic golf practice accessible to more golfers.
The product enhances realism in three ways: it replicates the changing slopes of a golf course for all four uneven lie types; it offers surfaces with three turf lengths (fairway, first cut, and deep rough); and it uses a gel layer under the turf to penalise poor ball striking, helping users develop better habits for on-course play.
By analysing driving range data, golfers can understand how different variables affect their yardages and ball flight during actual play.
